Good day to you one and all. Now, I believe it’s important for people to know who they’re voting for, and it’s important for me to show transparency. I’m probably quite a bit of an oversharer, if I’m honest, but there’s no harm in having as full information as possible about somebody in the political sphere.
I was born in South London in 1983, in Clapham, and from there I grew up and spent many years working within the entertainment and hospitality industry. Currently, I reside in Syon and Brentford Lock, so I am a resident of the ward.
Throughout my career, I’ve strived to exceed expectation. I feel that I’ve done my best to work hard to the benefit of others, not just my customers or my audience, but also for the benefit of my staff and the people who worked with me or under me. I’ve always deemed it vitally important to pass on my knowledge, or to give options for training, so that others could build their own profession, skill, expertise, and confidence. I’ve done very well with that through the years.
Earlier in my career, I won awards in the performance aspect, including Entertainer of the Year many years ago. I toured with some great names and was a feature within the historical reenactment and musical scene for many years, from 1999 up until 2018. More recently, within my hospitality career, I was one of the first recipients of the worldwide accolade of the Hearts in Hospitality Award from the Institute of Hospitality. And if you were curious as to the MIH after my name, those are my letters of membership: Member of the Institute of Hospitality.
Throughout my career, I’ve always deemed it vitally important to have a well-rounded outlook and to learn as much as I can. I pride myself on my integrity. I fight my own way through life, and it’s not always been easy. And I believe that transparency of government, and transparency from those in power, is paramount. It’s what makes democracy breathe.
I’m no career politician, but then it’s career politicians who have got us into the mess that this country is in. I understand business. I understand people. And that’s why I want to translate that experience into being a better option for local governance. Many experts for many years have stated that we need people who are not lifelong politicians or long-term councillors, because they often have far less life experience, far less experience in making money, fixing problems, and fixing economies.
I’ve worked mainly within hotels, and I became something of an expert in saving money, making money, upselling, and cutting down wastage. It’s not a hard thing to do, whether it be a hotel or a council. And from my experience over many years, I can tell you firsthand, as an eyewitness, that I’ve hosted many NHS and many local council events where £5,000 or even £10,000 would be spent on a meeting room, tea, coffee, and sandwiches. No word of a lie. This is excessive over-expenditure, and many of these meetings could be done in-house. Much has to be looked at in this format.
In 2025, I was a finalist, placing sixth in the world, in Restaurant Manager of the Year. And now in 2026, I’ve just found out, and I’m very proud to say, that I am currently a semi-finalist, working my way toward the finals, having been accepted by a panel of my peers.
But let’s go back a few years and build more of an idea of my character.
I’m a normal guy. I’m quite outspoken. I will always speak the truth, and I’m not known for mincing my words. In both my personal and professional life, I’ve made it something of a habit to hold people accountable when actions are negative, and I’m equally about praise and promotion when actions are positive.
In 2002, I took my oath of allegiance in the British Army, in the Royal Anglian Regiment, while living in Northampton. I served for a period of time in what was then known as the Territorial Army. I’ve lived a life of discipline, but also a life of fun and humour. And even in the darkest times, I will always inject humour wherever possible, because laughter is the best medicine.
When people ask what pushed me into political action, it’s worth noting that my YouTube channel has always been about history, boats, and hospitality. Politics only entered my content when I felt it was vitally important for the safety of our future, and our families’ futures. And it was only upon feeling that we are reaching a point of no return that I decided it was paramount to stand up and be counted.
I am very centrist in my beliefs, but if you believe everything the media have said over the past year, that somehow places me in a far-right Nazi category. That is political spin and nonsense. And in this video, I will lay out very clearly and concisely what I actually believe. I am fair. I am open to all. And I do not discriminate, no matter who you are, what you are, where you’re from, or why.
Now, 2025 was not a great year for me. Due to Labour’s financial failings on a national scale, the hospitality industry was decimated. Record numbers of hospitality workers found themselves at the job centre, trying to survive on three to four hundred pounds a month, and unable to find new work. My situation was slightly different, but after completing a fixed six-month contract, the company were not keen to keep me on at a higher wage, due to footfall being far lower than expected in a new hotel.
This was obviously disappointing. I didn’t want to rush into just any job, after years of working a hundred hours and being paid for forty. Jobs were scarce, and those that existed were often not roles I could reasonably do long-term. My savings dwindled. I worked as an advisor and trainer when the phone rang, once or twice a week. I endured hardship until venues slowly began reintroducing roles.
It was through the good grace of God, and through charity, that the Hounslow Food Box sustained me on and off throughout 2025 and kept me from ultimate despair. And that is not something I will ever forget.
It’s with that notion, and with reflection on my past, always trying to better the people around me professionally and personally, that I find myself in this position today. I want to give back to my neighbours, my friends, and my community. I want to give back to the country as a whole through positive measures and positive action.
Do not be sucked in by the negativity of Labour governments. Do not be taken in by charlatans and false promises. What I am laying before you is real, it is concise, and it is grounded in lived experience. No sectarianism. No racism. No ethno-nationalism. Just a fair chance for all resident taxpayers within our communities.
